3. CALIFORNIA CONSUMER NOTICES
3.1 Consumers Legal Remedies Act (CLRA) — Civil Code Section 1770
California's CLRA prohibits certain unfair and deceptive business acts or practices in connection with the sale or lease of goods or services to any consumer. KNYTEC is committed to complying with the CLRA. If you believe any practice on this Site or in connection with our services violates the CLRA, you may send written notice to us describing the alleged violation and requesting we cure it within thirty (30) days. If we fail to provide an appropriate remedy within 30 days, you may pursue your rights under the CLRA.
CLRA notice must be sent via certified mail to:
KNYTEC LLC, Attn: Legal, 295 W Sumner Ave Apt 420, Lake Elsinore, CA 92530
3.2 Unfair Competition Law (UCL) — Business & Professions Code Section 17200
California's UCL prohibits any unlawful, unfair, or fraudulent business acts or practices and unfair, deceptive, untrue, or misleading advertising. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the UCL, including rights to seek injunctive relief or restitution.
3.3 False Advertising Law (FAL) — Business & Professions Code Section 17500
We do not make false or misleading statements in connection with the sale of services. If you believe any of our advertising is false or misleading, you may contact the California Attorney General's Office or contact us directly.

4. USE OF THE SITE
4.1 Permitted Use
You may use the Site for lawful purposes only — to learn about KNYTEC's services, contact us, and make purchases. You agree not to: use the Site in any way that violates applicable law; transmit any unsolicited advertising or spam; attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site; use automated tools to access the Site without written consent; reproduce or exploit any portion of the Site for commercial purposes without our express written permission; upload content containing viruses or malicious code; or interfere with the integrity or performance of the Site.
4.2 Eligibility
By using the Site, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age, have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts under applicable law, and are not prohibited from using the Site under any applicable law or regulation.
4.3 Account and Form Submissions
If you submit a booking form, contact form, or create any account on the Site, you are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for maintaining the confidentiality of any access credentials. Notify us immediately at support@knytec.com if you believe any of your information has been compromised.
5. PURCHASES AND PAYMENT
5.1 Pricing
All service pricing is listed on the Site and is subject to change without notice prior to booking confirmation. Prices are in U.S. dollars. A price quote is not binding until a booking confirmation is issued.
5.2 Payment Terms
Full payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise specified in a separate written Service Agreement signed by both parties. Services will not be scheduled or confirmed until payment is received in full.
Payment is processed through Stripe, Inc., our third-party payment processor. Your payment is subject to Stripe's terms and privacy policy. KNYTEC does not store full payment card numbers on its systems.
5.3 Sales Tax
Where applicable under California law, KNYTEC will collect and remit California sales or use tax on taxable transactions (including, where applicable, hardware sales). Service labor is generally not taxable under California law when separately stated. If you are tax-exempt, you must provide valid documentation of your exempt status before the transaction is completed.
5.4 Hardware and Equipment Orders — No Refund Policy
Some of KNYTEC's service packages may involve the ordering or procurement of hardware or physical equipment on the client's behalf or at the client's direction.
ONCE HARDWARE HAS BEEN ORDERED, NO REFUND WILL BE ISSUED FOR THAT HARDWARE REGARDLESS OF WHETHER SERVICE WAS COMPLETED OR CANCELED. This policy is disclosed to clients at the time of booking and must be affirmatively acknowledged before payment is processed.
This no-refund policy on hardware does not limit your rights under California law in the event of fraud, misrepresentation, or failure to deliver the ordered hardware.
5.5 Anthropic Subscription — Client Responsibility
Clients are solely responsible for purchasing and maintaining their own Anthropic subscription (Claude Pro, Teams, or other applicable plan). KNYTEC does not purchase, manage, or control any Anthropic subscription on your behalf. Changes to Anthropic's pricing, features, or service availability are entirely outside KNYTEC's control and do not entitle you to a refund of amounts paid to KNYTEC.
6. REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY
6.1 Service Cancellations
The following cancellation terms apply to service fees (excluding hardware costs, which are governed by Section 5.4):
- More than 72 hours before scheduled service date: Full refund of service fee
- 24 to 72 hours before scheduled service date: 50% refund of service fee
- Less than 24 hours before scheduled service date: No refund of service fee
- No-show or client unavailability on the scheduled service date: No refund of service fee
6.2 Rescheduling
Clients may reschedule their appointment one (1) time without penalty with at least 48 hours' notice. Additional reschedules are subject to a $50 rescheduling fee as stated in the Service Agreement.
6.3 Post-Service — No Refunds
Once service has been delivered (i.e., the installation and walkthrough have been completed), no refunds are available. Any service concerns should be raised during the 30-day support period described in the Service Agreement.
6.4 California Law Governs Refund Disputes
Nothing in this refund policy limits your rights under California law, including under the CLRA or UCL, in the event of fraud, material misrepresentation, or a material failure of KNYTEC to deliver the agreed-upon services.
6.5 Required Disclosure — Refund Policy
Pursuant to California Business and Professions Code Section 17537.5 and related disclosure requirements, this refund policy is disclosed to you before you purchase. By completing a purchase, you affirmatively acknowledge you have read and understood this policy.

You represent and warrant that: (a) you own or have the necessary rights to submit the content; (b) the content does not infringe any third party's rights; and (c) the content is truthful and accurate. KNYTEC reserves the right to remove any Submitted Content at any time without notice.
If your Submitted Content was provided in connection with KNYTEC's Video Testimonial Reimbursement Program, it is also subject to the FTC disclosure requirements described in the Referral & Testimonial Program Terms.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, KNYTEC'S TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY AND ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SITE, THESE TERMS, OR KNYTEC'S SERVICES — WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE — SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE TOTAL FEES ACTUALLY PAID BY YOU TO KNYTEC IN THE NINETY (90) DAYS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM; OR (B) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100.00).
IN NO EVENT SHALL KNYTEC BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION: LOSS OF PROFITS; LOSS OF DATA OR RECORDS; LOSS OF BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY; COST OF SUBSTITUTE SERVICES; OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION — EVEN IF KNYTEC HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
Nothing in this Section limits KNYTEC's liability for: (i) death or personal injury caused by KNYTEC's gross negligence; (ii) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (iii) liability that cannot be excluded under California law, including rights under the CLRA or UCL.
10. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless KNYTEC LLC, its members, officers, employees, agents, and successors from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of or access to the Site; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third party's rights; or (d) any content you submit to the Site.
11. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION
11.1 Governing Law

11.3 Small Claims Court
Either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court in Riverside County, California, for disputes within the applicable jurisdictional limits, without first following the informal resolution procedure above.
11.4 No Class Actions
You agree to bring any dispute in your individual capacity only, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, or representative proceeding. The court may not consolidate more than one person's claims and may not preside over any representative proceeding.
