1. INTRODUCTION AND SCOPE
KNYTEC LLC (Jassan Ozuna, sole member) ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information responsibly. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you visit knytec.com (the "Site") or engage our services.
KNYTEC LLC is located in Lake Elsinore, California.
This Policy applies to personal information we collect through the Site, service bookings, and direct client communications. It does not apply to information processed by Anthropic (governed by Anthropic's Privacy Policy), Stripe (governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy), or other third-party services you use independently.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
2.1 Information You Provide Directly
We collect information you voluntarily submit through contact forms, booking forms, email, phone, or in-person interactions. This may include: full name and business name; email address; phone number (if provided); business address or location (for on-site service scheduling); service preferences and notes included in inquiries or bookings; and communications you send us (emails, messages, support requests).
2.2 Payment Information
Payment information is collected and processed directly by Stripe, Inc., our third-party payment processor. KNYTEC does not store, process, or have access to full credit or debit card numbers. The information Stripe collects is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy at stripe.com/privacy.
2.3 Information Collected Automatically
When you visit the Site, certain information may be collected automatically by our website platform (Shopify) and related analytics tools, including: IP address and approximate geographic location; browser type and version; device type, model, and operating system; pages visited, time spent, and navigation paths on the Site; referring URL; date and time of your visit; and unique device identifiers and cookies (see Section 5).
2.4 Information from Business Outreach (Apollo)
We use Apollo.io as a business outreach and contact management platform. If you are a prospective client contacted through outreach campaigns, Apollo.io may have provided your publicly available professional contact information (name, business email, company name, LinkedIn profile). This information is used solely for outreach purposes. You may request removal from our outreach list at any time by contacting us at support@knytec.com, or by using Apollo.io's opt-out mechanism at apollo.io/privacy-policy.
2.5 Categories of Personal Information Collected (CCPA Notice)
In the preceding 12 months, KNYTEC has collected the following categories of personal information from California consumers:

- Legal compliance — maintaining records and fulfilling obligations under applicable law
- Protecting our rights — investigating potential violations of our Terms of Service or applicable law

We will not use your personal information for purposes materially different from those listed above without your consent or as otherwise required by law.
KNYTEC does not use automated decision-making systems or profiling that produce legal or similarly significant effects about consumers.
4. HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION
4.1 We Do Not Sell or Share Your Personal Information for Targeted Advertising
KNYTEC does not sell your personal information. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information to or with third parties for monetary or other valuable consideration. We do not share your personal information with third parties for targeted advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising purposes.
4.2 Service Providers (Processors)
We share personal information with the following categories of service providers who process it on our behalf and solely for our business purposes:
- Website hosting and analytics: Shopify, Inc.
- Payment processing: Stripe, Inc.
- Customer relationship and outreach management: Apollo.io
- Communications tools: Google LLC (Gmail / Google Workspace)
These service providers are contractually required to use personal information only to provide services to KNYTEC, maintain appropriate security measures, and not sell or further disclose personal information without authorization.
4.3 Legal Requirements
We may disclose personal information if required by law, court order, subpoena, or government request, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our legal rights, prevent fraud or illegal activity, protect the safety of any person, or respond to an emergency.
4.4 Business Transfers
If KNYTEC is acquired, merged with another entity, or its assets are transferred, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify affected clients of any material change in data ownership or control.
4.5 With Your Consent
We may share your information with third parties when you have given us explicit consent to do so.
5. COOKIES AND TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES
5.1 What We Use
The Site is hosted on Shopify, which may set cookies and use similar tracking technologies including pixels, web beacons, and local storage. These technologies help us understand Site traffic, improve user experience, and track form completions.
5.2 Types of Cookies
Strictly necessary cookies: Required for core Site functions (e.g., form session management). Cannot be disabled.
Analytics cookies: Help us understand Site traffic and usage patterns (via Shopify's built-in analytics).

6. YOUR CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS
California law provides residents with specific rights regarding their personal information.

You have the right to request that we disclose: (a) the categories of personal information we have collected about you; (b) the categories of sources from which it was collected; (c) our business or commercial purpose for collecting it; (d) the categories of third parties with whom we have shared it; and (e) the specific pieces of personal information we hold about you.
6.2 Right to Delete
You have the right to request that we delete personal information we have collected about you, subject to certain exceptions (e.g., information we are required to retain by law, or information necessary to complete a transaction you requested).
6.3 Right to Correct
You have the right to request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
6.4 Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing
We do not sell your personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. If this changes, we will update this Policy and provide the required "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link on our homepage.
6.5 Right to Non-Discrimination
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights. We will not deny you goods or services, charge you different prices, or provide you a different level of quality for exercising your rights under California law.
6.6 Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information
We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined under CPRA (California Civil Code Section 1798.121) other than information handled by Stripe in connection with payment processing, which is outside our control.

We will respond to verifiable consumer requests within 45 calendar days of receipt. We may extend the response period by an additional 45 days when reasonably necessary, and will notify you of any such extension.
6.8 Authorized Agents
You may designate an authorized agent to submit requests on your behalf. We may require written proof of the agent's authorization before processing a request submitted by an agent.
7. DATA SECURITY
We implement commercially reasonable technical, administrative, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include HTTPS/SSL encryption for all data transmitted through the Site, access controls limiting access to personal information, and reliance on PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant payment processing through Stripe — no payment card data is stored on KNYTEC's systems.
No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. In the event of a data breach that triggers California's notification requirements under Civil Code Section 1798.82 (as amended by SB 446, effective January 1, 2026), we will notify affected California residents within 30 calendar days of discovering the breach, as required by law.
8. DATA RETENTION
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. Our general retention guidelines are:
- Client records and transaction data: 7 years from the date of the last transaction
- Email and communication records: 3 years
- Analytics and site usage data: As determined by Shopify's default retention settings (typically 26 months)
- Outreach records (Apollo.io): Maintained until you opt out or until the data is no longer needed for business development purposes
When personal information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it in a secure manner.
9. DO NOT TRACK DISCLOSURE (CalOPPA)
California's Online Privacy Protection Act requires us to disclose how we respond to Do Not Track ("DNT") signals. KNYTEC's website does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals from browsers. We are not aware of any industry-wide standard for responding to DNT signals at this time. If a standard is established, we will update this Policy accordingly.
10. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
The Site is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, we will promptly delete it. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us at support@knytec.com.
11. THIRD-PARTY LINKS
The Site may contain links to third-party websites (such as Anthropic's website, Stripe's payment page, or social media platforms). These third-party sites have their own privacy policies, and KNYTEC is not responsible for their content or privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.
12. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our data practices, legal requirements, or business operations. When we update this Policy, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you. Your continued use of the Site after the effective date of any update constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
