These terms cover your use of knytec.com. They're written in plain English on purpose. Using this site means you accept them.
What this site is
knytec.com is an informational website for KNYTEC LLC, a California company providing bid-preparation and back-office services to specialty-trade subcontractors. The actual services are provided under separate written agreements between KNYTEC and each client — nothing on this site creates a service contract by itself.
No guarantees of outcomes
Construction bidding has no sure things. Nothing on this site — including examples, sample bids, percentages, or revenue figures — is a promise that you will win bids, be awarded contracts, or earn any particular amount. Whether a bid wins depends on factors nobody fully controls: pricing, competition, relationships, timing, and the general contractor's decisions.
The calculator and bid console are illustrations
The interactive tools on this site (the bid console demo and the revenue calculator) exist to show how KNYTEC works and to help you think about your own numbers. Their outputs are illustrative estimates based on the numbers you enter — they are not quotes, bids, financial advice, or commitments of any kind. Sample projects, quantities, and prices shown in the console are fictional examples.
Our content
The content on this site — text, design, graphics, logo, and code — belongs to KNYTEC LLC. You're welcome to read it, share links to it, and print it for your own evaluation. Don't copy it to build a competing site or pass it off as your own.
Acceptable use
Don't abuse the site: no attempts to break, overload, scrape at scale, or interfere with it; no submitting forms with false identities or spam. We may block traffic that does.
Disclaimers and limits
The site is provided "as is." We work to keep it accurate and available, but we don't warrant that it's error-free or uninterrupted. To the maximum extent permitted by law, KNYTEC LLC isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of this website. If we're somehow liable anyway, our total liability related to the website is capped at one hundred dollars ($100). None of this limits liability that can't legally be limited, and none of it applies to the separate service agreements we sign with clients — those have their own terms.
Third-party links and tools
The site may link to or embed third-party services (for example, a scheduling tool). Those services have their own terms and privacy policies; we don't control them.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute about this website will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Riverside County, California.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date at the top tells you the current version. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
