Privacy Policy
We keep this simple, because that's how we do everything. This policy explains what information knytec.com collects, why, and what we do with it. Short version: we collect what you send us so we can reply to you and run our service. We don't sell your information. Ever.
Who we are
KNYTEC LLC is a California limited liability company that provides bid-preparation and back-office services to specialty-trade subcontractors. Questions about this policy go to hello@knytec.com.
What we collect
What you send us. When you use our consultation form, you give us your name, business name, email, phone, trade, team size, bid volume, and what you're looking for. That's it — we ask for what we need to have a useful call with you and nothing more.
Basic technical data. Like nearly every website, our hosting provider processes standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) to serve the site and keep it secure. If we enable basic analytics, it tells us things like which pages get visited — aggregate numbers, not a profile of you.
What we don't collect: we don't run advertising trackers, we don't buy data about you, and this site has no accounts or passwords.
Why we use it
- To reply to your inquiry and set up the call you asked for.
- To provide services if you become a client (governed by your service agreement).
- To keep normal business records — inquiries are part of running a company.
- To operate and protect the website.
That's the whole list. We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we don't share it with third parties for their marketing.
Who touches the data
A few service providers process data on our behalf, strictly to run this site and our business:
- Vercel — hosts this website.
- Web3Forms — delivers your form submission to our inbox.
- Zoho Mail — our email system, where your inquiry lands.
- Google Analytics — only if enabled, for aggregate site statistics.
Each of these processes data under their own security and privacy commitments. None of them are allowed to use your information for anything other than providing their service to us.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry and client records as long as they're useful for running the business or as required for legal and tax purposes. If you want your inquiry deleted, ask — see below.
Your choices and rights
Email hello@knytec.com and we will tell you what we have about you, correct it, or delete it. We do this for anyone who asks, regardless of where you live, and we'll respond within 30 days. We'll never treat you differently for asking.
California residents: the rights above cover the access and deletion requests contemplated by California privacy law. We don't sell personal information, so there's nothing to opt out of.
Kids
This site is for business owners and isn't directed at anyone under 16. We don't knowingly collect information from minors.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, form submissions are transmitted encrypted, and access to our inbox is limited to KNYTEC personnel. No system is perfect, but we keep the surface area small on purpose.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. Material changes get a plain-English note here, not buried fine print.
